Karamursel Reunion - Saturday Dinner
Saturday night included dinner, a slide show that Gene prepared, and an awards ceremony.

Mr. A (Sam Alexander) gave a short talk after dinner. Seated at the table in front are the Nehers (Kelly and Kristie's parents) and standing to the right is Joe Councill, my son, who I had assisting in some of the reunion events.

We had a few door prizes to give away after the dinner Saturday night. One of these was a Turkish belly dancer necklace won by Dawn Totten. In this picture, I am putting the necklace around her neck. My son Joe is watching.

Terry Churchill won the Turkish ashtray door prize - the ashtray is made in the form of the basic Turkish toilet we had to use when off the base. Kristy Jourdan is applying the pressure here to get the ashtray from Terry and she eventually talked him out of it somehow.
Angie Robertson and Jo Keggler actually wanted a picture taken with me. Since the digital camera had a small preview window, they kept rejecting the picture and made Ralph take another one. Finally they decided to go ahead with this one which I think was picture 4 (the others were deleted). But it still didn't come out quite right. Ralph said the camera was running out of power.
